Help stop male suicide

12 July 2016

A letter from Glen Poole, Director, Helping Men (UK)

I’m writing to ask if you can help with a new project I’m working on called Stop Male Suicide.

With six men dying by suicide every day in Australia, we can and must do more to stop male suicide.

One action that’s known to make a difference is increasing male suicide literacy, not just in men and boys, but also at a community level and amongst people in positions of power and authority.

This is where you can help. We’ve been invited to speak about male suicide at the national Suicide Prevention Conference in Canberra next month where we want to launch our new book “You Can Stop Male Suicide”.

You can read more about the book here if you want to:

We’re looking for 50 people to help us increase male suicide literacy in Australia by pre-ordering a copy of this book today. If 50 people buy a copy of the book in advance, we will be able to produce a limited edition of the book to take to this important conference.

If you want to be one of the 50 people who help us make this happen, you can order the book online.

Take action by forwarding this message to everyone who may be interested, by sharing this link:

Thanks for taking the time to consider ordering a book and for thinking about supporting the Stop Male Suicide project.
